Demeter

Demeter is a Mother/Crone aspect goddess. When her daughter goes missing, she mourns her loss and turns into a hag to go while she searches the world for her. The earth falls into a chill, thus winter, autumn. When Persephone returns to her mother for half the year, we have spring and summer!
